The World's Smallest "Skyscraper"

The McMahon Building, LaSalle St., Wichita Falls, TX

The World's Smallest Skyscraper, reputedly the result of a scam where a Con Artist collected money for what inverstors thought would be a 40 story building in Wichita Falls; they falied to spot the fact that the plans were scaled in inches rather than feet. When this tiny, 10' x 16' 4-story building was built, he could not be charged since it was a leglaly binding contract. The victims simply hadn't read the proverbial fine print.
Word has it he still fled into the wilds of 1919 Texas with his profits.
Rather cute and with nicely done brick work for all that.

Nice story and building! It may be the world's smallest Skyscraper, but it's very cute. The sad truth is that the scammers are still between us. Thanks for photo and interesting story Lili!
